Tough Nations League home game tonight
The Faroese national football team will play Azerbaijan at the national stadium in Tórshavn tonight.
Although coach Lars Olsen expects tough opposition in the game, he does not rule out a Faroese win.
“We will do everything in our power to win the game,” he says.
”I imagine they will be approaching the match with a certain degree of caution, given our decent results so far in the Nations League.”
This is the third game for the Faroes in the Nations League. The Faroese team won the first game against Malta 3-1, but lost 2-0 to Kosovo in the second game.
Tonight’s game starts at 7:45pm and will be broadcast on this website and on KVF’s radio and tv channels.
