Fish exports go down by 3 percent
Exports of fish went down by DKK 217m, or 3 percent, from April last year to March this year

From April 2018 to March 2019, the Faroes exported fish products for DKK 7,871 million.
The export value of cod, coalfish and haddock increased by DKK 140m, and the export value of mackerel, herring and blue herring increased by DKK 167m.
The export value of salmon decreased by DKK 271 million. Other fish and fish produce saw a DKK 253m drop in price.
Biggest increase in fuel
While the export value of fish went down over this period, import figures grew by DKK 743m up to DKK 7,780m, which is an 11-percent increase.
The biggest growth in import figures is represented by fuel, with an increase of DKK 344m, to a total of DKK 1,318m from April 2018 to March 2019.
