After ongoing consultations with physicians treating Covid-19 patients, the World Health Organization (WHO) is no longer warning against the use of ibuprofen.

The organisation has announced that it is not aware of reports of any negative effects of ibuprofen beyond the usual known side effects that limit its use in certain populations.

On Tuesday, the WHO warned against using ibuprofen to treat coronavirus symptoms, arguing that French studies claimed that ibuprofen aggravated the symptoms.
