One person tested positive in Thursday’s testing round and another yesterday

The total number of active Covid cases has now reached 19 after two new positive tests were registered from Thursday’s and Friday’s testing.
Both persons have been quarantined and contact tracing has begun.
Corona.fo reports that the person who tested positive yesterday contracted the virus in the Faroes and has so far not been linked to a known chain of infection.
No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19.
According to the latest figures, 59 people are currently in quarantine.
A total of 114,435 tests have been carried out in the country since the outbreak in early March.
