Seven active Covid cases remaining

Of the 649 people who have tested positive since the outbreak, 642 have recovered, leaving seven active cases.

One person tested positive on Friday, while yesterday’s round yielded no positive results. Friday’s positive test was registered at Vágar Airport.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1 and 0.

One person is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and 66 people are in quarantine.

Vaccination calendar 

Five percent of the Faroese population (2,664 people) have so far received the first shot of the Covid vaccine.
