Drop-in vaccinations available from tomorrow
Tomorrow and Monday, the country’s three hospitals will open drop-in vaccination sessions with no booking required, reports corona.fo.
According to the latest findings from Denmark, only 0.08 percent of fully vaccinated people are subsequently infected with Covid-19.
Out of the roughly 25,000 fully vaccinated people in the Faroes, only 0.04 percent have been infected after receiving the second shot.
Chief medical officer Lars Fodgaard Møller said earlier this week that the few vaccinated people who do get infected experience significantly milder symptoms and are also much less likely to pass on the virus than their unvaccinated counterparts.
