Five new Covid-19 cases on Lithuanian ship

Six positive Covid-19 tests were registered on board Lithuanian cargo ship Cassiopea on Tuesday.

Another five have now been added, bringing the total to 11.

According to Faroe Agency, which represents the ship in the Faroes, it is unclear what will be done with the ship and its crew. But it will remain docked in the Ánirnar port near Klaksvík until tomorrow at the earliest, while the shipping company decides its next course of action.

The crew is quarantined on board the ship and has been banned from disembarking.
