Airline to review inflight food & drinks decision
Airline to review inflight food & drinks decision
Atlantic Airways has not been offering travellers inflight food and drinks services since the start of the Covid-19 crisis in March
08.09.2020 - 15:34
On Thursday, the Atlantic Airways management will sit down to discuss whether to resume its inflight food and drinks service.
This service was suspended in March to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection between cabin staff and passengers.
An increasing number of airlines abroad are now resuming their inflight services. However, this mainly applies to flights with a duration of more than 135 minutes.
Atlantic Airways CEO Jóhanna á Bergi says that although none of the Faroese airline’s current flights exceed this duration, it makes sense to re-evaluate the decision to suspend this service.
