Poll: 84 percent want to get vaccinated
Most people in the Faroes want to be vaccinated as soon as possible. Some want to wait, and relatively few refuse to get vaccinated.
So concludes a new poll, commissioned by the Ministry of Health, of 500 people aged 18 and over.

In total, 84 percent of the respondents said they wanted to be vaccinated. About 67 percent said they want to receive the Covid vaccine immediately. Just over 14 percent want to wait. Three percent have already received the vaccine.
Only 6 percent said they did not want the vaccine, and 10 percent were undecided. The poll indicates that especially younger people are undecided.
No new cases
Yesterday’s round of 491 tests yielded no positive outcomes.
There are currently seven active Covid-19 cases in the country.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 2 and 0.
No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and 27 people are in quarantine.
