Most people in the Faroes want to be vaccinated as soon as possible. Some want to wait, and relatively few refuse to get vaccinated.

So concludes a new poll, commissioned by the Ministry of Health, of 500 people aged 18 and over.

In total, 84 percent of the respondents said they wanted to be vaccinated. About 67 percent said they want to receive the Covid vaccine immediately. Just over 14 percent want to wait. Three percent have already received the vaccine.

Only 6 percent said they did not want the vaccine, and 10 percent were undecided. The poll indicates that especially younger people are undecided.
