Ninety-nine new Covid cases
Sunday’s 3,189 Covid tests resulted in 99 positive cases, reports corona.fo.
All infected persons have been notified by the health authorities. Extensive contact tracing is underway.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 13, 15, 26, 38, 89, 78 and 99.
There are currently 379 active Covid cases in the country. Two people are receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 563 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

The number of positive Covid tests across the regions over the past 14 days (yesterday's figures not included) are as follows: Eysturoy: 115, Norðoyggjar: 113, Suðurstreymoy: 57, Norðstreymoy: 14, Suðuroy: 10, Vágar: 9 and Sandoy: 5.
According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on Fridday, 39,114 people (73.1 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 37,404 (69.9 percent) have received the second shot.
