Young entrepreneurs honoured

TARAS, a team of four students from Klaksvík’s Tekniski Skúli, won top honours at this year’s ‘Ungt Virki’ (‘Young Company’) young entrepreneurs awards.
The team will represent the Faroes in the finals in Copenhagen on 26 April where the top 42 young entrepreneurial teams will be competing for the top spot.
TARAS’ project is based on sustainable production of starch from Faroese seaweed for use in feed production in the Faroese aquaculture industry.
