Foreign music teachers soon to play in orchestras
Foreign music teachers should have easier access to performing in concerts and other music event.
The government has requested that Danish authorities waive the work permit requirement for secondary employment for individuals who already hold work permits as music school teachers.
This change would eliminate the need for foreign music teachers to apply for a separate work permit for each music performance they wish to participate in.
Kaare Dybvad Bek, the Danish Minister of Immigration and Integration, is willing to make this change and says a law change proposal will be circulated for comment later this month.
