Pelagic vessel Jupiter will soon become part of the Russian fleet.

Shipping company Varðin has had Jupiter on sale for some time, and now an agreement has been made with a Russian company.

According to Varðin CEO Jákup Jacobsen, the purchase should have been completed last week, but some complications arose, and the Russian firm has asked for an extension.

However, Jacobsen says it won’t take long before the deal is done.

Jupiter is one of Varðin’s five ships.
