Search operation called off

The search for the 29-year-old Austrian man, who travelled to Fugloy on Friday but has not been seen since, has now been called off.

A search and rescue operation, including helicopters, rescue ships, police and locals, was launched, but so far the man has not been found.

Police are urging members of the public who may have some relevant information to contact them on 351448.
