Talks on fishing rights in 2019 and a long-term framework agreement have broken down for the fourth time.

Andras Kristiansen, of the Ministry of Fisheries, who heads the Faroese delegation, says there is agreement on certain issues but not on others.

Two government officials from Iceland and three from the Faroes took part in Thursday’s meeting. No new meeting has yet been arranged.
