05.06.2019 - 20:00

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has unanimously elected Christian Andreasen as the head of its legal committee.

Prior to the appointment, Andreasen, who is the president of the Faroese Confederation of Sports and Olympic Committee (ÍSF), was vice chairman of the committee.

Big responsibility

Andreasen, who now takes over the helm from Jesper Møller, has been a member of the legal committee for four years.

The committee, which consists of 21 members from the 21 members states, deals with all legal matters relating to European football and acts as a legal intermediary between UEFA and its member states.
