Tunnel drilling completed

The completion of drilling for the subsea tunnel will be celebrated in the á Hálsi sports hall in Tórshavn.

As the final blast will take place deep inside the tunnel, it is deemed potentially unsafe to gather large numbers of people at the spot.

The special event will be shown on a big screen in the sports hall, where key figures, including transport minister Heðin Mortensen, will deliver speeches.
