Age should not determine retirement

The National Association of Pensioners is calling on political parties to include pensioners’ interests in the election campaign.

The association has listed the following four requests:

▪ Samhaldsfasti (the joint and several labour market pension fund) payments should be tax-exempted

▪ The tax-free base allowance in the national pension scheme should increase by at least DKK 580

▪ The setoff-free income should increase to DKK 100,000

▪ Dismissal from work due to age should be banned by law.
