Sarah Mahfoud, boxing for Denmark, won the women’s IBF welterweight world title on Saturday night
She won the title after beating reigning champion Brenda Carabajal from Argentina at Saturday’s International Boxing Galla in Frederiksberg, Denmark.
The three judges decided unanimously in Mahfoud’s favour.
”The atmosphere in the hall was great, and everything went how I wanted it to go,” she told Danish newspaper B.T. after the fight.
