14-day quarantine for all who test positive
Guidelines for those who test positive for the coronavirus have now been intensified.
Up to today, an infected person was considered as fully recovered after 48 symptomless hours, at which point they were no longer regarded as carrying the virus and were released from quarantine.
But new studies indicate that it is possible to pass on the virus after 48 hours of showing no symptoms.
New guidelines
Responding to these new findings, the Ministry of Health says in a press release this afternoon that all corona positive people should now go into a 14-day quarantine, and that the previous guidelines regarding 48 symptom-free hours no longer apply.
