Mandatory testing of passengers extended
All travellers to the Faroes will be tested free of charge until 14 August
The Ministry of Health has extended its mandatory testing strategy for incoming travellers by two weeks

The current guidelines for incoming travellers, which were due to expire at the end of this month, have been extended by two weeks.

Everyone arriving in the Faroes will be required to be take a Covid-19 test until 14 August.

The costs will be covered by the government, which means the tests will be free of charge for travellers.

All travellers are urged to go straight into self-isolation until the test results are ready, which is normally within 24 hours.
