Cargo ship with Covid-infected crew leaves Faroes
Four crew members stayed behind in the Faroes when Lithuanian cargo ship Cassiopea left port last night
A total of 34 Covid-19 cases have been registered in the past week among crew members of Russian and Lithuanian ships docking near Klaksvík

Four Cassiopea crew members, including an officer, remained in the Faroes when the ship left the Norðhavn port near Klaksvík around 10pm last night.

Three of the four had tested positive for Covid-19, and all four are currently being isolated in a hotel, according to chief medical officer Lars Fodgaard Møller.

Cassiopea is now heading for the Spanish port of Las Palmas.
