Fourteen new Covid-19 cases

Fourteen new Covid-19 cases were registered this morning.
This brings the total number of positive tests in the Faroes to 241, 192 of which have recovered.
There are currently 49 registered active Covid-19 cases, but 32 of these were foreign sailors, who have now left the country.

Seventy-three people have been put into quarantine, and one person is currently receiving treatment at the National Hospital’s Covid-19 ward.
The chief medical officer is urging the public to be on high alert and respect the social distancing and hygiene guidelines.
