Faroes have been granted EU Covid-19 vaccine quota
Although not a European Union member, the Faroe Islands will receive a share of Denmark’s EU allocation of vaccines

The EU Commission has signed an agreement with pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca, which secures the EU member nations 300 million Covid-19 vaccines.

This deal grants Denmark some 2.4 million vaccines once they become available.

And as parts of the Danish Kingdom, the Faroe Islands and Greenland will be receiving their share of this allocation.

Faroese health minister Kaj Leo Holm Johannesen says it is not yet clear how many vaccines the Faroes are entitled to.
