Atlantic Airways to resume daily flights
More regular flights will start on 15 June when the self-quarantine requirements change

30.05.2020 - 13:27

The national airline will be resuming regular flights to Denmark and Iceland from 15 June.

This decision comes in the wake of the government’s announcement yesterday that the borders will be partially reopened on 15 June.

From this date, the airline will be offering daily flights to Copenhagen and two weekly flights to Billund.

From June 22, there will also be three weekly flights to Iceland, with departures on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Passengers will be required to wear protective masks, and onboard services will be kept to a minimum to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Atlantic CEO Jóhanna á Bergi says that the final preparations will be put in place once the government announces its border reopening guidelines.
