Tighter test requirements for hospital visitors

The hospitals in Tórshavn and Tvøroyri now require visitors who have recently been abroad to show a negative Covid test result from the sixth day after arrival.

This new preventive measure comes into effect today following a recent increase in positive Covid-19 tests.

After a period with no positive tests, there have been almost daily instances of positive tests at Vágar Airport.

Yesterday, five new domestic Covid cases were registered.
