The Country & Blues festival in Sørvágur has been called off for the second year running

The Country & Blues music festival, which was cancelled last year due to the Covid pandemic, has been called off again this year.
Organisers told news portal in.fo that the decision to cancel is due to the indecisiveness regarding Covid restrictions.
“We simply cannot get any clarity from the authorities about whether or not we can go ahead with our festival,” chief organiser Hjalmar Hvítklett told in.fo.
“It’s impossible to organise such a big event at short notice, so we have now decided to cancel this year’s event.”
