New hospital building DKK 42m over budget

The original estimate was DKK 508 million, but now contractor Landsverk says the total project cost of constructing the new hospital building will be DKK 550 million.

After it became clear that the Glasir college project was running over budget, the Ministry of Health and the Interior asked Landverk’s new management whether the construction of the new hospital building was running on budget.

Having looked over the accounts from the planning stage until now, Landsverk says that a further DKK 42,330,699 will be required if the building is to be completed according to plan.

This projected figure is broken down into DKK 9m to cover management, consultancy and assessment. DKK 12m covers site maintenance and expected expenses, while DKK 21m covers workman salaries.
