Pension savings hit by stock market chaos

The recent turmoil in international finance has affected pension savings in the Faroes.

Pension firm Lív’s customers saw a 2-percent drop in their retirement savings last year as a result.

However, Lív CEO Jan Jakobsen says there is little cause for concern in the long term, as what was lost last year will be recovered in the first half of 2019.
