New hospital building DKK 152m over budget

The new H-building at the National Hospital will cost DKK 152 more than planned.

Kaj Leo Holm Johannesen, the Minister of Health, announced the figure in Parliament yesterday at the first reading of the 2020 budget proposal.

The Supplementary Appropriation Act, which is currently being heard in Parliament, includes a proposal for a DKK 21 million extra appropriation this year.

Earlier this year it emerged that the building would be DKK 80m over budget, but this figure has now almost doubled.
