Banks rolling out support for clients

Betri Banki and BankNordik are offering their business and private clients the option of deferring repayment of their loans.

For private clients, this applies for all regular loans, such as house mortgages or car loans.

Business clients who have lost, or expect to lose money, due to the lockdown will be offered liquidity assistance.

“This is an unusual emergency, and we understand the problems our clients can suddenly find themselves in,” says Jean Djurhuus, CEO of Betri Banki.

Clients can also apply for a temporary overdraft.
