Forty-eight new Covid cases, six in hospital
There are currently 733 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Friday’s 3,255 Covid tests resulted in 48 positive cases, reports corona.fo.

All the people in question have been notified by the health authorities, and extensive contact tracing is underway.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 63, 67, 76, 85, 111, 55 and 48.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 90 percent of the 12+ population have received the first shot of the vaccine, 85.4 percent have received the second shot and 2.8 percent have received a third booster shot.
