Faroese short film wins major Cannes award

On Wednesday, ‘Ikki illa meint’ (‘No bad intentions’), directed by Andrias Høgenni, won the Canal+ Award for Short Films at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. 

This is the first time that a Faroese film is selected for the Cannes Film Festival, and winning the award opens many doors for the Faroese director.
