Faroese Christmas music round the clock
KVF’s new ‘Christmas music channel’ should come as good news for those who just cannot get enough of Faroese Christmas songs.
From now until Christmas, these people no longer have to sit through news programmes and other irrelevant content just waiting to hear some Christmas tunes.
The new channel, named ‘24/7 Jólatónleikur’, started broadcasting yesterday.
This is the first time that KVF sets up an alternative channel.
“The idea struck us last week,” says KVF’s CEO Ivan Niclassen. “We know that many of our listeners want more Christmas music, so setting up an alternative Christmas music channel seemed like an obvious choice.”
‘24/7 Jólatónleikur’ can be accessed on this website’s home screen, in the right column, just below the ‘News in English’ link.
