KVF appoints new CEO

KVF’s board of directors has accepted an appointment committee’s nomination of Ivan Hentze Niclasen as the broadcasting corporation’s new CEO.

Niclasen, 58, holds a degree in history and another in globalisation and integration.

He has extensive experience in broadcasting, having worked at Kringvarp Føroya since 1991 in roles including head of programming and news editor.

Niclasen, who has been the coordinator of KVF’s culture programmes since 2015, will start in his new job as soon as practically possible.
