Another Posta privatisation attempt a possibility
The Ministry of Trade decided not to sell the national postal service, but a second attempt is not unlikely

Only one bid was submitted for national postal service Posta, and that bid was deemed insufficient.
The identity of the bidder has been kept secret, as it is believed that revealing the identity may affect the trade ministry’s negotiating power in a possible second privatisation round.
Costly process
The privatisation process cost almost DKK 500,000 of taxpayers’ money.
Poul Michelsen, the Minister of Trade, says that Posta will now continue as a public joint stock company, but he adds that future privatisation attempts are a possibility.
