There is currently no basis to resume talks between the Pedagogue Union and its employers, municipal trade union KAF and the finance ministry.
So says Terje Sigurðsson, chief mediator at the conciliation board.

“We have been in contact with both parties, but there appears to be insufficient willingness from either party to compromise, which is why there is currently no basis for resuming the talks,” he says.
