Oil spill causes traffic chaos in Tórshavn
A car and a scooter were damaged on Saturday after a big oil spill on main roads in Tórshavn. No human injuries were reported

Large quantities of oil spilled onto the road along Dalavegur, Marknagilsvegur and Hvítanesvegur in Tórshavn on Saturday.
The oil also spread to numerous side streets due to the heavy rain.
A police car struggled to make it up the slippery Dalavegur hill to close the road.
A Magn tanker truck had leaked oil onto the road, reportedly due to a mechanical fault.
