Water safe to drink in Tórshavn, Argir
Boil water advisory lifted across capital region except for Nólsoy, Kaldbak and Velbastað

The boil water advisory issued for the capital region on Thursday has been lifted in Tórshavn and Argir.
However, the advisory remains in effect for Nólsoy as bacteria is still being detected in the water there.
Test results for Kaldbak and Velbastað are expected back soon. Until then, residents in these areas are still advised to boil their water before consuming it.
