Supplier wants to increase electricity prices
Energy provider SEV is considering a price rise of DKK 0.10 per kilowatt hour for next year

03.12.2018 - 14:28

The SEV committee will today be submitting a proposal to increase electricity prices by DKK 0.10 per kilowatt hour in 2019.

According to committee chairman John Zachariassen, SEV has received an approval from the Environment Agency to increase the price.

Over the past two years, SEV has lowered its prices by DKK 0.10, but now the need has arisen to increase the prices again. The reason, the committee says, is the company’s big expansion projects, along with an increased demand for electricity.

With the price rise, an average household using 6,000 kilowatt hours per year would need to pay DKK 80 more per month.
