Timetables changed due to poor weather

Today’s poor weather has forced national transport company Strandfaraskip Landsins to cancel some ferry services to and from Sandoy, Skúvoy and Suðuroy.

The Teistin services from Skopun (Sandoy) at 06:45am and from Gamlarætt (Streymoy) at 07.25am this morning were cancelled. The 08:10am service from Skopun went ahead as planned. The 2pm and 04:35pm services from Skopun and the 01:15pm, 03:15pm and 05:20pm services from Gamlarætt have been cancelled.

Suðuroy ferry Smyril’s timetable has also been changed for today. The services from Tórshavn at 1pm and from Tvøroyri at 03:30pm have been cancelled.,

All ferry services to Skúvoy have been cancelled today.
