The number of cars in the Faroes is on a steady rise

More than 700 new cars have been registered so far this year. This is an increase of 73 on the 1 January - 1 April period last year.
March alone saw an increase of 23 compared to March 2018. A total of 474 vehicles were registered in the Faroes from 1 January to 1 April this year.
This means, on average, that 12 new cars have been registered every working day of this year.
