Verdict on building scandals ready soon

The state prosecution is expecting to reach a conclusion by 1 April on whether there is a basis for criminal charges against contractor Landsverk.
In May last year, the then Ministry of Transport reported a number of Landsverk staff to the police following the building scandals at the Glasir educational centre and the National Hospital, both in Tórshavn.
This came after lawyers found irregularities in the project descriptions, and the state prosecution is now looking into the possibility of claiming damages from decision makers at Landsverk.
