Volleyball championships concluded prematurely

Klaksvík-based volleyball club Mjølnir has been declared premier-league volleyball champions for both men and women.

After consulting with all clubs involved, the Volleyball Association has decided to wrap up this year’s championship with the current standings counting as final.

Nine games remain in the women’s championship and eight in the men’s as the championships are brought to a premature end.

Mjølnir also won the men’s cup final on 22 February.
