GDP more than doubled from 1999 to 2019
The Faroese gross domestic product (GDP) saw big increases in the years leading up to 2020

The Faroese GDP was almost DKK 21 billion in 2019, amounting to DKK 403,000 per capita, according to Statistics Faroe Islands.

The GDP went from just below DKK 8 billion in 1999 to just over DKK 12 billion in 2009 to just over DKK 19 billion in 2018.

Last year’s GDP figures are not yet available.
