Red Cross: together, we overcome loneliness
The challenges of loneliness and social isolation have never been more pressing than in today’s Covid-19 climate, the Red Cross Faroe Islands writes in a press release.
To help shed light on these challenges, the organisation is launching its ‘Together, we overcome loneliness’ campaign, consisting of six events held across the country.
The events include a talk by psychologist Suni Poulsen on the challenges of loneliness, an introduction to the Red Cross ‘visitor service’ for the lonely and ‘the family network’ for migrants, Dragana Popovic telling her story of migration and loneliness, plus a short film and a live music performance.
