Women watch screens at work, men wait until after
New Gallup poll reveals the different screen habits of men and women

19.11.2019 - 08:07

Women watch screens more than men during work hours, but men tend to switch on their screens more after work.

A poll carried out by Gallup for Folkaheilsuráðið (the Public Health Board) shows that half of the female participants spend at least three hours per day in front of a screen during work, which is 10 percent more than for the men.

Men are more likely to spend time in front of a screen after work.

Forty-one percent of the male participants report watching a screen five or more hours per day, while less than a third of the women say the same.
