Fortysomethings most prominent in corona stats

Thirty people in the 40-49 age group have been infected with the coronavirus, making this the most prominent age group in the corona statistics.

Next up is the 20-29 age group, with 28 positive tests. The 50-59 group has 25, the 30-39 group has 17, the 10-19 group has 16, the 60-69 group has 14, the 70+ group has six and the 0-9 group has four positive tests.

Suðurstreymoy has the highest number of positive tests (75), followed by Norðoyggjar (35), Eysturoy (16) and Vágar (9). Figures below 4 are not announced. No other regions currently feature in this statistic on corona.fo.

The gender split of those infected is 50/50.
