Mykines ferry service resumes tomorrow

Mykines ferry Jósup will take up its regular service again tomorrow morning, with the first departure from Sørvágur at 10:20am.

The boat has been docked for repairs this week after suffering rudder and propeller damage last weekend.

The sea currents between Sørvágur and Mykines have been unusually rough this week, which means that most of Jósup’s trips would have been cancelled anyway.

But now national transport company Strandfaraskip Landsins confirms that regular service will resume tomorrow morning.
