Five new Covid cases

Five new Covid-19 cases have been registered now that most of the tests from this weekend and some from yesterday have been analysed.

Four of the five positive tests came from Sunday’s testing round and one from yesterday.

A further 482 tests from Sunday and more than 1,000 from yesterday are still awaiting analysis.

The new figure brings the total number of positive tests this past week up to 93.

According to corona.fo, the daily number of positive tests announced since last Tuesday has been as follows: 2, 14, 38, 16, 11, 7, 4, 1.

More than 1,000 people are currently in quarantine. There are still no Covid-19 patients in hospital.
